Anderson Valley Winery
The client wished to create an understated winery facility exclusively devoted to the creation of pinot noir.

The design response was to connect the functions of cave storage, tank cellar, covered workspace and a tasting room through the use of a large wall made from stone found on the site. The wall connects form and function while creating usable outdoor spaces for the facility. The design team also created a separate tasting experience within the wine caves to savor the wine with minimal sensory distractions.
